Your child must be enrolled in Harper School to register for this class.

This magical and exciting “sport of the mind” will exercise your child’s brain and build brain muscle and new cells. Instruction will include the basics and then move into tactics and strategy, opening theory, middle game planning and endgame combinations. There will also be time to plan and apply the lessons learned weekly. This exciting program teaches chess but also builds life skills. Life skills are developed such as problem solving, decision making, responsibility, analytical and critical thinking, focus and concentration and the like while learning and playing chess. Studies now confirm that the student that studies and plays chess does better academically. Indeed, this is an exciting and fun sport to learn and play for a lifetime. Professional instruction will be provided by a U.S. Chess Federation certified instructor from Chess Enrichment a premier chess provider on the north shore. REGISTER TODAY.

Spring Break Lacrosse for Tots - 327094

Come experience one of the fastest growing sports in recent years. Age-appropriate-sized sticks and softer balls will be used for safety. Boys and girls will learn techniques including cradling, passing, shooting, goalie skills, and much more. Game play is also included in this class.
